Proudly supporting Anaphylaxis Awareness Week

1 October 2026

KES Prep is proudly supporting Anaphylaxis Awareness Week (1-7 October 2026), joining the nationwide campaign to raise awareness of the challenges faced by those living with serious allergies.

This year's theme: The Hidden Battles with Allergies: A Sense of Belonging, highlights the everyday experiences of people managing allergies and the importance of creating environments where everyone feels safe, supported and included. As an allergy-aware school, our School Nurse (Matron) works closely with families and staff to ensure that appropriate care plans, emergency procedures and training are in place across the school, helping every child feel safe, supported and able to thrive at KES Prep.

Anaphylaxis Week (2)

The school's catering partner, Holroyd Howe, is also marking the week by promoting allergy awareness through a range of allergen-free dishes and bakes that can be enjoyed by all. Throughout the week, the team will be wearing bright orange t-shirts to help spark conversations and raise visibility of the campaign.

By supporting Anaphylaxis Awareness Week, KES Prep is reinforcing its commitment to ensuring that no child feels excluded because of their allergies, while helping to build greater understanding, awareness and inclusion across the school community.
