Early Years - Nursery
WELCOME TO OUR NURSERY
Welcome to our independent day Nursery based, where children aged two to four years will experience a nurturing, stimulating and playful environment, fostering independence and creativity in every child.
Nestled in the beautiful grounds of KES Preparatory School is our bespoke Nursery setting. As one of the top independent nurseries in Romsey, near Southampton, our Nursery is a magical and special place, filled with joy and fun. Our youngest children play, learn and develop in our well-resourced indoor area which flows out to a covered outdoor area. These areas enable our children to explore and discover in their preferred environment.
Many of our children are adventurous and prefer to learn outdoors. Therefore, we ensure there are many opportunities to learn and develop outside of the classroom, in our garden, at our farm, at Forest School or in Little Meadow.
Little Meadow, is home to our sustainably built Meadow Lodge, provides a hide to watch birds and other wildlife and offers a space to reflect. This wild space at the bottom of our garden, surrounded by glorious countryside, gives our children the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature and wildlife, grow vegetables and harvest apples from our orchard. Little Meadow is also surrounded by our farm. Our children love to visit our ponies, goats, ducks and chickens, learning to feed and care for them.
STAFFING
Our Nursery is led by Nursery Manager Amey Richmond, supported by our highly qualified Deputy Manager Miss Emily Roberts. Together, they form a strong and experienced Nursery Management Team, both are Level 3 Forest School trained and work alongside a wider group of skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioners. We aim to provide enhanced staff-to-child ratios at all times to ensure each child receives the individual care and attention they deserve.
