Apprentice Nursery Practitioner

Apprentice Nursery Practitioner
NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner Duration – 2 years

40 Hours per week Monday – Friday

£16,640 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join us during an exciting time of development at our beautiful rural nursery. We are an incredibly friendly and committed team, working in a unique setting with stunning outdoor space and brand new adjoining Early Years Forest school site – Little Meadow.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and helping them thrive, work well within a team, have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.  You will be an integral part of the Nursery Team and must have English and Maths at Grade 4 or above. A basic understanding of early childhood education principles is desirable.

We are seeking an organised and detail oriented Data Administrator to join our Data Team and support the effective management of school information systems and data processes across the School Group. 

This varied role is central to ensuring the accuracy, integrity and security of pupil and staff data, enabling colleagues to access reliable information, reports and systems that support teaching, learning and day to day operations.

The successful candidate will assist with the administration and maintenance of the School’s Management Information System (iSAMS), pupil records, attendance data, ID systems, room bookings and access control systems, while also providing first line support to staff and parents for a range of data systems.  The role also involves supporting data protection and compliance processes, including maintaining records, assisting with data retention procedures and supporting Data Subject Access Requests administration. In addition, the post holder will contribute to ongoing Data Team projects and support the implementation of new systems and processes across the Schools.

You will have strong administrative and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion. A proactive approach, strong communication skills and confidence working with data systems and technology are essential. Experience of working with iSAMS or other MIS platforms would be advantageous but is not essential.  The data administrator role will be based at the Senior School site, but there will be some occasional travel required to our Romsey and Winchester Prep Schools.

We are seeking to appoint a well qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated Prep School, supporting a pupil in Upper Prep on a 1:1 basis Wednesday -  Fridays.  Experience of working with children who have social and emotional support needs is essential.

As part of your role, you will work as part of the Learning Support Team under the direction of the Head of Learning Support and Head of Upper Prep. You will provide in-class and 1:1 support for a pupil with social and emotional regulation needs. The successful candidate will prepare materials as necessary under the direction of the class teacher and follow recommendations from the Head of Learning Support whilst maintaining pupil target sheets.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team working across Pre Prep and Lower Prep.

As part of your role, you will work as part of the Learning Support Team under the direction of the Head of Learning Support, Head of Pre Prep and Head of Lower Prep. You will provide in class, small group and 1:1 support for pupils with learning based needs in a setting with small class sizes and high expectations of children’s progress and attainment.

The successful candidate will prepare materials as necessary under the direction of the class teacher and follow recommendations from the Head of Learning Support whilst maintaining pupil target sheets.  You will have previous experience of working with children with a range of needs with a calm, positive and kind approach to working with children.
