Apprentice Nursery Practitioner

Apprentice Nursery Practitioner
NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner Duration – 2 years

40 Hours per week Monday – Friday

£16,640 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join us during an exciting time of development at our beautiful rural nursery. We are an incredibly friendly and committed team, working in a unique setting with stunning outdoor space and brand new adjoining Early Years Forest school site – Little Meadow.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and helping them thrive, work well within a team, have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.  You will be an integral part of the Nursery Team and must have English and Maths at Grade 4 or above. A basic understanding of early childhood education principles is desirable.

From music and movement, yoga and sing and sign sessions with our performing arts specialist, sports and games with our PE teachers, and farm and forest school sessions with our dedicated and passionate outdoor learning team, the curriculum at King Edward VI Nursery presents something special for both our children and the nursery staff alike.

King Edward VI Preparatory School is a thriving and happy co-ed independent school for pupils from age 2 to 11, and is the feeder school to King Edward VI, Southampton.
