A fabulous day for our Centenary Launch Event!
Our Centenary Launch Event on Saturday 27 June was a wonderful day, bringing together the whole KES Prep community for an afternoon of fun, celebration and togetherness.
The event marked the first milestone in a year of activities leading up to our 100th birthday next year. It was our great pleasure to welcome Cllr. Colin Burgess, Mayor of Romsey, and Deputy Mayor Cllr. Janet Burnage to the celebration! There was a joyful atmosphere throughout the day, with summer festival food provided by our caterers, Holroyd Howe, and a KPA bar complete with a silent disco!

The event began with a welcome from our Head, Becky Smith, followed by the launch of the Big Centenary Challenge and the announcement of our Centenary Tea Towel Competition winners. Live performances entertained guests throughout the afternoon, including a Drummer Showcase, the Prep Rock Bands, the TPA Dance and Cheerleading Clubs, and a fantastic Year 6 Matilda Medley.

A huge thank you to the KES Prep Association (KPA) and everyone who contributed their time, energy and enthusiasm to make the event such a success. We look forward to creating many more special memories together as we celebrate this landmark year in the school's history.
